Description
This El Salvadoran dish is a flavorful combination of white, cabbage, carrots, onions, and jalapeno peppers. (In El Salvador, it is generally served with Pupusas.) It also goes well with salads, sandwiches, and tacos.
The color comes from the fermentation of the beets. Fermentation time takes 3-4 weeks.
