Description
This juice is produced from the aronia berry. The berries are first frozen to micro-crack the skins then thawed and cold-pressed. This is because the phytochemical, anthocyanin, is locked in the skin. The aronia berry has one of the highest natural concentrations of anthocyanin (2184) compared to blueberries (500), and aronia has an extremely high ORAC value (17,000) which makes it an excellent antioxidant. Studies have shown effectiveness in treating diabetes, migraines, heart disease, and even some cancers.
Taste: The berry has a high tannin content. The taste resembles unaged red wine.
Dosage: 4-6 oz. each day
